Israel Attacked Iran. 3AM Siren Woke Me Up. Gold Is Up. Now What?

Looks like Israel will be pounding Iran for the next two weeks. When that's done, we'll see what happens. Hopefully nobody else gets involved.

I'm a bit shell-shocked today, but OK. Genuinely surprised by developments. I was up at 3am from an air raid siren, but it turned out to be us attacking them, not the other way around. I got dressed and moved to the downstairs bathroom with my wife and kids as we usually do during sirens, and we stayed there for about 10 minutes. Bombs have fallen on my street before so I know what it's like and why getting downstairs is important, but I'm not about to run outside to the nearest shelter. Had my wife done that when a Hizballah bomb fell a few meters from our house last August she might have gotten killed, so just downstairs for us.

I wasn't expecting Bibi to do anything after so many years of threatening, but he finally has. So far Iran has done nearly nothing and all the drones it's launched have been shot down.

Then we got word the entire top echelon of Iran's air force has been wiped out in a bunker on top of that, so nobody knows who's in charge over there.
