Exploding Pagers and Walkie Talkies, The Temple Mount, and the Final Rate Cutting Cycle Begins

Allahu Akbar mother$&%ers. Looks like we're in for quite the climax to this monstrosity of a 91 year old debt pyramid.

I can't really concentrate on finance today, so I'll write what's in my head. The situation where I am is quiet for now, though reports are coming in that Hezbollah has been so thoroughly humiliated that they are attacking UNIFIL trucks and expelling the UN from the southern border with Israel. If so, this could be a prelude to a desperation move by Hezbollah to demonstrate some sort of suicidal kamikaze machismo and invade. If they don’t, they could lose control of Lebanon and get lynched by an angry mob of Lebanese who would rather they not continue poking angry Jews with shrapnel rockets.

This ain't October 7^th no more, kids. We’re ready now. For all I know, this could be an Israeli strategy to get Hezbollah to invade out of sheer desperate white hot fury just so we can kill them faster. Who knows.

As I write this, a bunch of explosions are happening right now in Lebanon. Seems the Mossad is not done yet. This time it's walkie talks. Which 1980's communication device will we blow up next? The entire Syrian and Iranian armies along with Hezbollah have been ordered to dispose of all of their communications equipment received in the past 4-8 months. According to OSINTdefender on Twitter, "Today’s Attack on Hezbollah didn’t just target Radios to Detonate, with reports suggesting that Smartphones, Intercoms, Crypto Devices, Tickers, Smart Watches, Solar Panels, and even some Household Appliances within the Homes of Hezbollah Members across the Country had Exploded."

I don't know if the above is true, but even if not, the terror instilled in Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran over the last two days has been truly Wrath of God furor.

Anyway…

If you follow me, you know I am tribal and I do not hide it. I do not subscribe to what is called Western morality. While "turning the other cheek" is a Jewish principle under certain circumstances (See Lamentations 3:30), it is only exercised in defeat, not in an active war, which we are commanded to fight and win.

This is war, and what happened yesterday was not the first time that Israel launched a surprise attack against its enemies through trickery, in an active hostage situation. The first time was Genesis 34, which in fact was the very first act by the newborn Israelite nation that had just come to Canaan to settle for the very first time. Israel (the man, Jacob) had just escaped his uncle Lavan in Haran and deftly avoided a clash with his brother Esau on his way back to Canaan, when his daughter Dina was kidnapped and raped by the son of the leader of the city of Shechem (now Nablus), whose name was Hamor (literally "Ass").

Hamor takes Dina hostage for his rapist son and then negotiates with Simon and Levi, the two eldest Israelites after Reuben, the first born who had recently lost his role as leader of the family for certain indiscretions. So Simon and Levi were effectively the leaders of Israel at the time.

Hamor proposes to become one big happy family with Israel, and Simon and Levi, concocting a plan, insist that in order for that to happen, everyone in Shechem must be circumcised. (Levi is the tribe of Moses and the Aaron, known for vigilante violence, and my wife is a Levite BTW.)

Hamor's son thought Dina was really hot and he was thinking too much with his dick, so he gets the people of Shechem to go along with the surgery by promising them dibs on all Israelite property in a hare-brained, half-baked communist utopia fantasy complete with monkey butlers. Simon and Levi patiently wait 3 days post surgery, when the pain post circumcision is at its height, and proceed to slaughter every man in Shechem, rescue their sister from captivity, take all the property, and lay waste to the entire city.

While Israel the man was not exactly happy about this, Simon and Levi get the last word in to their father, indicating they were in the right in this situation. They say to Israel rather bluntly, "Our sister will not be treated like a whore." There the story abruptly ends.

And so history is repeating.
